Bringing you up to speed with today’s reality!

Don’t miss this new, expanded training session, which combines our popular CEPA 101 and CEPA: The Prequel with a clear, practical understanding of how CEPA works today — and why — with insights that connect the historical evolution of the Act to the realities of compliance for your products.

Whether you’re new to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) or looking to deepen your understanding of its ever-evolving framework, this dynamic training session is for you.

Are you confident navigating Ministerial Conditions or Significant New Activity (SNAc) requirements?

Not sure how new initiatives like the Plan of Priorities or the Strategy to Reduce, Replace and Refine Vertebrate Animal Testing fit into the bigger picture?

This training is designed for practitioners at every experience level — whether you’re looking to build a strong foundation for your CEPA knowledge or update your understanding of the latest regulatory publications.

Through this training you will:

  • Understand the forces that shaped CEPA’s framework, including how early policy decisions and the dual F&DA–CEPA structure influence current oversight.
  • Demystify Ministerial Conditions and SNAc rules — learn how they’re triggered, what they mean for your business, and how to stay compliant.
  • Gain practical tools for managing obligations under CEPA and anticipating what’s next from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).
  • Explore current initiatives like the Plan of Priorities and the animal testing strategy to understand their potential impacts on your company.

Who Should Attend:

Regulatory, compliance, and safety professionals (new and experienced); regulatory affairs specialists new to cosmetics and personal care; marketing and business managers; raw material procurement specialists; legal advisors; and anyone involved in compliance or product stewardship.

This session includes exercises, a quiz, and a Q&A session.
